Brandy Melville and this amazing Tattooshop
 Barbara

Architecture and the Wijngaardstraat

Yesterday, Barbara and I went to Antwerp. We weren't planning to go shopping but rather to explore a different part of the city since we always go to the Meir (where all the stores are located). After missing my train due to my stupidity and a terrible website to check on the hours of departure, I finally arrived in Antwerp-Central. A few minutes later my friend Barbara arrived as well and we went straight to the Meir first (you basicly have to go through that street to get to the more different kind of shops). Of course we had to go to Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and River Island first because it's hard passing them by. I bought a floral dress and a white cropped sweater at Forever 21 and some knuckle rings at River Island. Because of the fact my fingers are so so small it's hard for me to find decent knuckle rings that won't slip of or be basicly normal rings. And so I found good ones at River Island.

After that I started to get really hungry so we went to have some fries and a veggieburger. After we finished our meal we went to look for Brandy Melville's store. Immediately I fell in love and wanted to buy everything. Sure the prices aren't quite like H&M or Forever 21 but it felt right to buy some items because it's timeless and very comfortable and the quality is better as well. I also wanted to go to a local store called The Public Image, which is owned by the lovely and so so adorable Nele. I immediately fell in love with these red platform heels and I really couldn't leave the store without them honestly. They're the Tardy heels by Jeffrey Campbell. Go check out her website or her store it's located in the Wijngaardstraat in Antwerp!

I needed a moment to calm down after realizing I now own my own pair of JC's (which had been a dream since the Litas came out). We then went to a book store/clothing store/hair salon called YOUR. I didn't really find anything interesting (and tbh it was quite expensive) but I did buy a Typography book called 'Never use more then two different typefaces". It's a guideline to typography and that always comes in handy I believe.

After our insane shopping trip and adoring new places and the ever charming architecture of Antwerp we ended our day in Starbucks. I have to be honest it had been a while since I had so much fun going places and seeing new people and shops so it's been an amazing day/weekend for me already.

Tomorrow I will upload a haul from all the things I bought and maybe an OOTD as well.
