#1 Prepare your skin!
I always use a moisterizer (nivea soft) because I have a very very dry skin. To make my foundation look 'flawless' I use a primer after the moisterizer (gosh) as well. This primer is gel based so perfect for dry skin and smoothing out.

#2 Foundation and Concealers
Some say the rule is to use a concealer before your foundation but because I only really use a foundation to clear out redness I use it afterwards under my eyes when I have red/dark circles and on spots if needed. I only recently started to use the Fit Me Foundations and setting powder by Maybelline because I read/heard good reviews about it. It's really soft and had a light to medium coverage so that's pretty awesome since I don't like full coverage foundations at all. It's not drying at all even when I use the powder to set my make up (again normally not recommended when you have very dry skin BUT it works for ME). My concealer is by H&M, I really love this one it's very creamy and soft. When I need the extra coverage or want to take photographs or stuff I use my Cartrice Concealer pallet.Again very soft and easy to use.

#3 Brushes and/or Sponges
Since I discovered this cheap alternative for the well known beautyblender (20-25 euros) I wanted to try it out and.. tadaa! It is amazing really. I never tried the 'real' one before but I can say this cheap one from H&M (€2,95) really works for me so I can't complain. I also use a big fluffy brush (HEMA €5) to set my powder and two other ones from Essence (around 3 or 4 euros each). They're all really soft and do the job basicly.

#4 Finishing off
I know this sounds like the proces of doing your face, eyes and lips are quickly done (well for some it is) but I didn't want to go on and on and on.. SO basicly I contour my face with a cream based (or sometimes powder based) bronzer and finish of with a lightly shimmery blush. For eyes (everyday use) I use a skin toned eyeshadow, nothing too dark. And then do A cat eye. Some days I feel like using a eyeliner pen and other days gel liner depending on how much time and effort I want to put in it ;)
I love lipsticks but in the winter times I like to use a more butter-ish lipstick or a tinted lip balm like the baby lips from Maybelline.

Make up brands I use a lot; Maybelline, Essence, Cartrice, NYC, Gosh
