step 1: buy yourself a cheap canvas (or use an old one from an art project you don't like anymore)

step 2: paint your canvas in any colour(s) that you like, I painted mine in the same grey as my wall is.

step 3: get a metal plate in a diy store and place it behind the canvas (note: if it's around the same size as the canvas you can easily fold it behind the wooden frame)

step 4: get some old or buy some cheap magnets and get rid of the plastic border around it if there is one.

step 5: print or use some photographs/quotes/inspiring pictures etc. and glue the magnet behind them.

step 6: arrange the photographs etc. however you want on your canvas!
