Rescue Me! product review

Since I was about 12 years old I've had acne prone skin. I suffered from a bad case of acne between the ages of 13 to about 16, 17 years old. I tried so many products and went to so many dermatologists yet nothing really helped except for the Louis Widmer products who calmed down my skin a bit.
So even in my twenties, I still have some break outs. Most of the time they come out when I'm on my period, like with most females, or when in times of stress.
After my operation I suffered from bad break outs even more so I was looking for a product that would help my skin calm down again. Since I already use a BB cream by Maybelline (which contains 2% of salicylic acid and helps reduce acne and breakouts) I needed something that helped over night as well.
I came across this Formula 10.0.6 'Rescue Me' treatment in my local drug store which also contains salicylic acid amongst other ingredients that help to prevent and cure break outs and scarring. I've only used it 2 or 3 days now but it does it's job pretty well. I'm not saying your blemishes will disappear over night BUT it will reduce them so they won't be that noticeable any more.
So my day routine became like this, first I put on my day cream/moisturiser, when that's all set I put on a little bit of the Rescue Me gel on my blemishes and the areas I feel like there's a break out coming through. When that's all dried up I put on my BB cream and do all the rest of my make up.
At night time I cleanse my face with a 9 to 5 cleanser from Lush, spray some Tea Tree Water (also by Lush) on a cotton pad and go over my face again with that. Put on my night cream which is the Nivea Sensitive Night Cream (I've only been using this the past 3 days as well so I can't really tell if it's working for my skin but it does feel moisturising already) and after all of that I put some of the Rescue Me gel on the blemishes again so it can work over night.
I hope this helps others who are searching for a product that does a similar thing for them. xo
